November 15, 2010 - Imagine you’re a celebrity. You’re dressed in the latest fashion. You’re making your way down the long red carpet and past the flashing cameras of the media and paparazzi.
Can you picture it?
Now picture yourself at the 2012 Dream Auction Fundraising Gala in support of the Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program (AALP). A gala event truly worthy of having a red carpet. A gala where Ontario’s agricultural leaders, the cream of the crop, come out to support the future leaders of our great industry.
AALP Class 13 challenges you to name the 2012 Dream Auction. The theme – Red Carpet.
We invite you to embrace your creative side, and submit your suggestion for the official name of the 2012 Dream Auction. The winning entrant will win two complimentary tickets to the 2012 Dream Auction, and a professional photograph of you and your guest walking the 2012 Dream Auction Red Carpet.
Contest Details
Naming restrictions:
- Be creative! The only thing we ask is that you keep it in line with the red carpet theme, include the year (2012) and Dream Auction.
Who is eligible to participate?
- The contest is open to all current AALP participants, AALP alumni, future AALP hopefuls and all AALP friends.
Who decides on the winner?
- All entries will be reviewed and the winning entry selected by the 2012 Dream Auction Promotions and Communications Committee and the Dream Auction Planning Committee.
Deadline for submission:
- All entries must be received by December 31 , 2010.

Unveiling of the Winning Entry:
- The winning entry and the official 2012 Dream Auction name will be announced late January, 2011.
The 2012 Dream Auction will take place February 11, 2012 at the Delta Hotel in Guelph, Ontario. The 2012 Dream Auction, planned and hosted by AALP Class 13, will raise funds to support AALP, a 19 month executive leadership program for individuals actively involved in the agriculture sector and rural Ontario. Proceeds from the 2012 Dream Auction will support the program curriculum for Class 14.
